 The locating pins on the underside of the bezels didn't allow them to fit as low in the body openings as needed. I started by sanding off the pins. |
 The bezels also had notches where the clear covers were supposed to be snapped into place. |
 I filled the notches with body filler. |
 And then sanded them smooth. |
 Last, I touched up the bezels with flat black. |
I
also had to remove the locating pins from the clear covers, and smooth
and polish those areas. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture that process
with photos. |
